Genealogy Update Project

In 1984 Gene Clopton published The Clopton Family, The Ancestors and Descendants of William Clopton of York County, Virginia.   This book motivated the founding of the Clopton Family Association and remains the major reference for Clopton genealogy and history.  The CFA is now sponsoring an update of this work over the next few years.

Forms for updating your family's information consist of 5 pages, an introductory page, an instruction page, and 3 forms for entering information.  They are being provided in a mailing and are available here in various formats for downloading.  After viewing use "save as" to store on your computer.

Web Browser (HTML): You can view the forms here on your web browser and print them on your printer. [View Web-based forms]

Text (TXT): These 5 text files contain each page separately so that they can be printed individually.  This format is a good one for those putting information in by computer and submitting by Email and by those without software to read other formats.
